They say that Tabenkin managed to catch the first rays of public recognition, appearing after the famous "Russian Sotheby's in 1988, several months before his death. But it seems that the really high interest to the artist's work is formed only now, before our eyes. In 2005-2006, there was an exhibition (a large exhibition gallery "Vellum" in the CHA closed October 15), a publication of Elijah Tabenkin were included in the lists of lots of local auctions.
