People's Artist of Russia, a recognized master of landscape Alexander Kamanin is one of the most famous painters of Nizhny Novgorod. He was a member of numerous national and All-Union Art Exhibition, AM Kamanin whole life was a follower of the traditions of Russian realistic landscape painting of the second half of XIX century. The basis of his art was truthful transmission of different states of the nature of central Russia.
The artist is particularly fond of writing elusive, transient states: the first glimmers of spring, sunny days of autumn, winter thaw, etc. His paintings are imbued with a sincere love for the mother nature. This forced the artist to take care about the details, send a unique nature in all its forms. Charm Kamaninskih landscapes is well known, especially his "Winter" - as if they reference: snow, winter, Kamanin wrote, as God. And indeed, "Winter" from the artist especially - with a soft fresh snow, is started bushes and trees, with gray skies, ready for the new snowfall.
