Name of the event speaks for itself. Merkava - a celestial chariot of the Creator, pulled by animals, symbolizing the 4 main Sefira (spiritual components of the upper world). Central picture of the exhibition is a bull, symbolizing Sefira "Gvurah.
Paintings in a single complex give everyone an idea of the device and the interaction of the spiritual world with the world of the material.
Traditional Talmudic subjects, but the new interpretation, just found their place in the exhibition. For example, visitors can see paintings "Noah", "Adam and Eve, Cain and others.
Boris Dubrov is a prominent representative of the Russian school of painting. Born in St. Petersburg, where he also received art education. In the 90 years immigrated to Israel, where he continued his creative endeavors, the results of which are pictures, explanations of Jewish towns in the genre of Jewish Studies.
The current exhibition - Outcome 4 - x years of work in the studio and in-depth study of Kabbalah by leading rabbis of Israel. According to the author himself, this art project designed to provide a new direction in painting, which he called "kabrealizm" - the transfer of Kabbalistic themes in a realistic manner.
