"The atmosphere in the room became very tense - bid followed one after another", - said the auctioneer, Mark Dzhilding. The final offer of purchase of nearly 400 thousand dollars.
But even this price, increased 400 times compared to the start, hardly reflects the real value of the painting. British art historians believe that the picture may be owned by Titian, and written between 1510 and 1520 in Venice. In this case, it can be assessed and $ 10 million.
