Nicholas Dem'yanovich Gritsuk (1922-76) lived and worked in Novosibirsk
 Gritsuk - a cult name for Novosibirsk. His work is represented in the collections of the Tretyakov Gallery and the Russian Museum, the famous Viennese Albertina and Berlin Alt-Museum, in many Russian museums, including the Novosibirsk Art Gallery.
