Kalantarov Izrailevich Markel (1908, Samarkand).
Painter and graphic artist. Engaged in the Art Studio at the Tashkent branch of AHRR (1926 - 1928), in the Tashkent Art College (1928 - 1933) from PP BENKOVA, MI Kurzina. Participated in exhibitions since 1935. Taught in Samarkand (1933 - 1940).
