The International Exhibition of Decorative Arts and the art industry was held in Paris from April to October 1925 Exhibiting at the Soviet Union was one of the first acts of cultural exchange between the USSR and France after the establishment of diplomatic relations. (Recognition USSR France held on Oct. 28, 1924).
For the Soviet pavilion was given a place on the Champs-Elysees between the pavilions of Great Britain and Italy.
