Here is a selection of works of one of the most interesting in my opinion Russian artists of the second half of the twentieth century. Lyrics taken from the catalog of the personal exhibition of Turkey, organized in the State Tretyakov Gallery in 2003, and the image - of the three in my catalogs.
Timeline
Born August 30, 1928 in Voronezh
1942-44 - evacuation. He did watercolors work. Still lifes, portraits from life, composition.
1944 - return to Voronezh. Introducing the artist AP Vasilyev. His influence has been fundamental.
1946 - adopted in the Penza Art College named. Savitsky.
1947 - Admitted to the Moscow Municipal College of Art. Teachers MS Perutsky, MT Khazanov (graduated in 1950)
1948 - met in VG Weisberg
1951-52 - met with Yu Zlotnikov and later (not earlier than 1956) with B. Slepyanom.
1953-54 - this time include familiarity with contemporary Western art: Mondrian, Pollock and other artists. Artists of Russian avant-garde, I knew then much smaller. By this time include my first abstract works (in 1953 he entered, and in 1959 graduated from Moscow Polygraphic Institute).
