По умолчанию Rating of the most influential people in the arts

Art Review magazine published October 15, 2009 the latest rating of the most influential people in the world of art. For the first time a list of hundred names headed not an artist, gallery owner or director of the museum, and curator - Swiss Hans Ulrich Obrist. Last year's leader - a British artist Damien Hirst - has moved from the top line of the rating in the 48-th. Analysts attributed the radical rearrangement of the journal in the rating of the global financial crisis: at least a third of the names from the list last year, never went a hundred in 2009.
In the first ten Art Review has got only one artist - American Bruce Nauman (occupies the tenth line). Others - a director of the largest museums (Glenn Lowry of the New York Museum of Modern Art MoMA and Sir Nicholas Serota, director of London's Tate Gallery), gallerists Larry Gagosian, Eli Broad, Yvon Blazvik, director of the Venice Biennale, Daniel Birnbaum, collector Francois Pinault, curated by Anton Vidokl, Julieta Aranda and Brian Kuan Wood.

In the second ten were successful artists Jeff Koons and Takashi Murakami (13 and 17 seats respectively), an influential gallery owner Charles Saatchi, in 2008, occupied 72 place, and in 2009 relocated to the 14 th, Director Emeritus of MoMA, Agnes Gund and other curators and gallery owners from the U.S. and Europe. 53rd place on the list is Viktor Pinchuk, vigorously engaged in the promotion of modern art, including Damien Hirst, in Ukraine. Collectors and businessmen from Russia in the rankings Art Review not okazalos. /lenta.ru
