По умолчанию A French court sentenced eBay to a fine of 80 thousand euro for trade in counterfeit

The Paris court sentenced the Internet auction site eBay to pay a fine of 80 thousand euro for trade in counterfeit goods, reports the Associated Press.
Thus, the Court granted the petition of the company LVMH, which owns such brands as Christian Dior, Kenzo and Givenchy, in which the producer of luxury goods and perfumes accuse eBay of complicity with trafficking in counterfeit goods. According to LVMH, the Internet auction should not be given the opportunity to trade counterfeiting and thereby cause damage to the original manufacturer products.
According to the court, for each subsequent such violation eBay will have to pay one thousand euros.
In 2008, LVMH has already appealed to the court about the counterfeit goods on eBay. Then the internet auction was sentenced to a fine of 40 million euros. With similar claims in the Address eBay accessed as companies L'Oreal, Rolex Group and Tiffany & Co, but in these cases the court takes the side of the internet auction.
