- I think that Russia - this is for the West in a sense, nature reserve, which preserved the principles and traditions. In our country there was no commerce over art, we have engaged them for the soul. Artists of our generation were not biased by the market. It was believed that those who engaged in the sale of paintings, destroying the very idea. What artist can not be rich. On the one hand - this is very bad. And on the other - it is in the reserve may be preserved any quality, which anywhere else would not have survived.
