We are on the site about art!
Trying to turn inside out pages the last few days, I suggest no longer argue on philosophical and religious themes. Do not mind our business to discuss such complex and often intimate questions. Let each religion has its own quiet lives in the soul. Attempts to show himself the most orthodox Jew or the most ardent Catholic-Muslim do not want on the site about art .*
Wines of religion to 18-19 centuries - essentially a formal ban on image secular subjects (well, still allowed to portraits and landscapes, which largely served as the basis for religious paintings)
The merit of religion in the 20 century - it inspired artists and sculptors to create new paintings. Not in order, as Rubens, but for the soul.
* Use the game "Spreading the correct punctuation. It should read as follows:
"Attempts to show himself the most Orthodox, Jewish or the most ardent Catholic, a Muslim are not needed on the site about art."
I host several paintings and sculpture of the 20 th century.
Show the world-known examples of religious painting - not interested. Same Rubens already navyaz on teeth. But show a well-known artist with a completely different angle or demonstrate techniques avoid censorship - will, hopefully, interesting:
1) That early Feshin, which bore no resemblance to the most famous style of his American period.
2) Tutunov is clearly trying to circumvent the ban on secret Soviet image of the religious story.
3) Korzhev amazes me again! Like it or someone does not like, but the talent! He can at any time, for any authority and for any reason sparingly and externally dimly represent the most powerful human emotions. Somewhere between life and death. Bravo
