The exhibition is organized by St. Petersburg State Academic Institute ZhSiA them. Ilya Repin and the gallery "Russian Portrait" with the participation of the Committee on the Arts.
The exhibition features 28 paintings by masters of the Leningrad-Petersburg academic school of painting from private collections.
The exhibition - the work of such outstanding masters of the brush, as Arkady Rylov, Boris Yoganson, Victor Oreshnikov Evsei Moiseenko, Andrey Mylnikov, Peter Fomin, Slava Zagonek Boris Ugarov, which ushered in the glorious traditions of the academic school of painting in St. Petersburg.
