Fund "Faith" and the National Center for Contemporary Art presents a charity auction in favor of IMH.
His work provided the artists from different generations - from the classics of Russian avant-garde and new wave to contemporary stars of the art world.

Artists sharper than anyone else, feel the pain of others, and today they gave us the gift of their work to draw attention to the needs of terminally ill people. The auction - the first serious attempt to raise money for dying patients, but not the first time that artists think it my duty to help the dying: the First Moscow Hospice at different times for patients played by such musicians as Mstislav Rostropovich, Natalia Gutman, Eliso Virsaladze, Theodore Currentzis.

All money raised at auction will be listed in the Hospice Foundation "Faith", created in late 2006. The main objective of the Fund - financial support of the First Moscow Hospice, opened in 1992.
In Moscow alone die from cancer every year 23 thousand people, more than 50 thousand in need of hospice care. The First Moscow Hospice serves about 3000 such patients per year.
The First Moscow Hospice manages the founder of hospice movement in Russia, chief physician Vera Millionschikova. For many years, it supported the idea of Dmitry Likhachev, and Mstislav Rostropovich, Naina Yeltsin and Lyudmila Narusova, Anatoly Sobchak, and Yuri Luzhkov. Today the Board of Trustees of the Fund include Natalia Gutman and Alice Virsaladze, Ulitskaya and Vladimir Voinovich, Ingeborga Dapkunaite and Andris Liepa, Tatiana Drubich and Marina Aleksandrova, Tatjana Arno and Avdotya Smirnov. Board of Trustees members will attend the auction, not only in order to participate in the bidding, but also to support hospice patients, to show the public that hospices should not be afraid - they need help. Hospice patients - real people, as no one in need of attention and care.
Organizers of the auction believe that such activities should be scheduled not only to raise funds in hospices, but also to draw public attention to the role of hospice. The need to give warmth and aid to the defenseless patients today medicine - to those who are terminally ill. To those who have no more hope, but still remained life.
