Dear U_Z. The fact that the artist presents his work known to people - could hardly be an indicator of lean. values. Hardly Obama or Putin's great connoisseur of art. Especially Obama.
And yet - not the fact that the gift was accepted by Mr N. Here there is more blatant desire cheap popularity by the artist. Knowingly N. Sofronov at all corners shouting about his portrait of Putin.
I know not bad artists, whose works are from the same Mr N, since these people are embarrassed to talk about it, knowing well the price of such advertising. They do not believe in a "closet" country estates hanging their picture, and know whether the owner N, which bought him a servant to decorate the house.
