Still, if we consider the artist in terms of its roots, then Greenberg has a large imprint of the USSR. This is not a Rothko, which is sometimes called the Russian artist of the fact of birth in Russia Empire. Rothko - pure American by education and upbringing. Greenberg - Soviet (Ukrainian?) Artist with American citizenship. But still he does not pull at all recognized classic.

America has more than 300 years - so they advertised the exhibition a few years ago. Russia Empire in 300 years (think of the royal Romanov dynasty, roughly 1600 300 = 1900) - managed to create its purely - Russian avant-garde.
Is it enough time in 300 years to create something similar to force vanguard? They both are developing dynamically.
