The houses of wealthy Gypsies in Romania and Moldova are the demonstration of the prestige, power and wealth of the family. Not allowed almost anything that could upset the pristine view of the interior. Kitchens are mostly "for show", while women prefer to cook outside in pots, side by side with friends and neighbors. Rich Gypsies begin to build and prepare the home for their children long before the anticipated wedding.
Here are a kaleidoscope of events presents us with a World Press Photo 2009. All that has attracted attention in 2008, stamped on the photographs, the best works received awards.
What I personally like about this show, is that from year to year with the help of these photographs to draw public attention to pressing issues and patient issues. Journalists doing their job. But what is interesting is not just reportage photography, where you just need to fix an event for history. One feels the hand of the photographer, his attitude to what is happening. Therefore, the combination of reportage and artistic photography is partly admirable.
