Evdokim Alekseevich Egorov (1832-1891), son of the great Russian painter Alexei Yegorov
   (Egorof) lived and worked permanently in Paris and was engaged in painting on porcelain, praised the "Russian theme".
   Under his leadership, such artists Repin, Polenov, Jacobi, Makarov and others, during his stay in Paris,
  tried to paint on faience in his famous Parisian atelier.
