Rouses Charyevich Charyyev (August 28, 1931 - February 18, 2004) - Uzbekistan's an artist. People's Artist of Uzbekistan, Academician of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.
Biography
Born in 1931 in the village Pashhurt Sherabad region Surkhandarya. He studied at the Institute of Fine Arts, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. Repin in Leningrad.
In his works Rouses Charyyev to create images of ordinary workers, contemporaries. Created series of portraits of famous representatives of the Uzbek culture and science.
Many of his works are stored in public museums and galleries in the U.S., France, Italy, Russia, India and other countries. Rouses Charyyev was one of the few Soviet artists whose solo exhibitions were held with success abroad.
Rouses Charyyev for many years worked at the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami.
Rouses Charyyev supports talented young people from disadvantaged families, some of his students lived in his house.
Charyeva awarded honorary title "Honored Artist of Uzbekistan", "People's Artist of Uzbekistan", awarded "El-yurt hurmati".
