Alisov Mikhail Alexandrovich (1859 -1933)
Mikhail Alisov refers to those little-known Russian artists, whose pictures are not wide, but represented in galleries in many cities. The facts of life are scarce and contradictory. Most likely, a native of Kharkov and the initial and, possibly, the main art education in the private school of drawing and painting, MA Raevskaya-Ivanova, opened in Kharkiv in 1869. It is known that M. Alisov studied in 1887-1888 years in the Academy of Fine Arts in YY Clever. Fine artist's passions are evident - the landscape, including the sea. Interestingly, his pictures of the marine theme artist readily deployed in the museums of cities, far removed from such a large water spaces. His paintings were eagerly bought, for example, in Tula, Nizhny Novgorod.

His personal exhibitions in his lifetime three known: in 1900, 1902, 1903, all of which were held in Kharkiv in the framework of the Association of Artists of Kharkov.
