Paintings continue the tradition of critical Sots Art - like Komar and Melamid, the artists ironically dissecting the language of socialist realism, creating a simulation of the "Russian" (this time is not the Soviet). Their art - witty sociological critique of the new Russian-class tastes. Interpretation is recommended to pacify the western editions of socio-political profile and absolutely not recommended for the attention of the authors who insist on their genuine love shown to their "beautiful", do not see any language in its social realism and, in general, like Molière's hero, not sure what they say in the art of whatever was the language.

Dubosarskiy and Vinogradov abandon tradition Sots-art, because the language they have "not in the foreground" and they do not belong to it analytically, but just enjoy them. They are not critical, but want to be needed Russia's newest state and society, which are identified. Despite the raid irony authors sincerely express their common nowadays the mental construction "Russia should have its own way and own style, and all the west, as it turned out, not for us." Interpretation is recommended for shokirovaniya Western press, which is used, that a modern artist, by definition, critical, and not apologetichen. For the interpretation of domestic publications do, but I have to do without sensationalism, because these positions very few people seem exotic.

"Mass" and "authentic" art Dubosarsky and Vinogradov is an expression of the crisis of modern Russia the artist and in general a man who completely lost position, but not found in his personality. In a state of catastrophic futility of contemporary art in Russia and the West, he lacks the courage to find support in that futility, in his lone project. We Dubosarsky and Vinogradov is somewhat sad comedy of personal insignificance - a fundamental feeling of any subject, repeatedly increased specificity of Russia's socio-cultural realities - but that it also creates the illusion of reality surmountable conflict and hinders its realization, which alone can begin truly unnecessary work. Or just life, that the same thing.
