Brief biography:
Zvezdov Eugene A. (1935-1988)
Ukrainian painter and graphic artist. He worked in the genre of still life, nude. In 1950-1954 he studied at the Leningrad art and graphics teacher training college (in E. Antipov). In 1957 he graduated from the Leningrad Academy of Fine Arts, in 1958 - 1964 he studied at the Kiev State Art Institute (with G. Yakutovich, G. Gavrilenko). Since 1964 worked as art editor at the publishing house "Veselka", in 1970 he taught at the Republican art school. Member of the USSR Union of Artists since 1971
In 1992 he held a posthumous solo exhibition of the artist, after which several paintings were purchased by the National Art Museum of Ukraine and the Kiev Museum of Russian Art.
Befriended and worked with Victor Zaretsky. Lived and worked in Kiev.
