Lowry died in 1976godu, just a month before the opening of his retrospective exhibition at the Royal Academy, which broke all attendance records of exhibitions of artists 20veka.
Here is an interesting collection of paintings by Lowry (it was said that he painted "match people and animals, even in this ditty is sung).
