Outstanding Russian jeweler Michael Evlampievich Perkhin (1860 - 1903)
Born in the village Okulovskaya Olonetsk province, not far from
Petrozavodsk. It is believed that he was self-taught jeweler. There
also suggested that he learned from Eric Collin - Chief Master
Faberge firm. In any case, Perkhin was very gifted
student. January 24, 1884 he was registered in St. Petersburg
Crafts council is only an apprentice goldsmith by trade, but
1886 has already become a master chief from Faberge. Michael Perkhin came in

their work with great zeal and imagination. He was responsible for the creation
Easter eggs on the imperial order until his death in 1903
