in World war II 1941-1945
exhibition open on the eve of Day of memory and Honor at the Central exhibition Hall of Academy of arts of Uzbekistan presented over 300 exhibits
demonstrating the unique mission of Uzbekistan in the years of the Second World War through artistic and documentary material held in Museum collections and the archives of the Republic, in the personal archives of members — veterans of war and members of their families.
This paintings, graphics, posters and sculptures from the collections of the Directorate
Art exhibitions created by the artists of the war and postwar period. Among them are the works of artists of soldiers, artists — Hero of the Soviet Union Samiha Abdullayev, V. Goryainov, Victor Yevenko, Michael Esin, Zakir Inogamov, Ivan Kochetov participating in the storming of Berlin. Basil Lysova, Rafael Matevosyan, Vladimir Petrov, the participant of the battle for Stalingrad. Anatoly Simbana, Rostislav Suchkova, George Tkachev, Hikmat Rakhmanova, Ilya Rubin and other famous masters, reflecting in his works the events and heroes of the war years.
