Manaseryan (Manasaryan) Levon Airapetov

Rod. 13.6.1925 (Vagharshapat). Member of the USSR Union of artists. Honored artist of Armenia (SSRA) (1983). Graduated from the Yerevan Institute of theater and cinema (1953), 1963 teaches at Yerevan state University of architecture and construction (1975-91, head of the Department).

His remarkable works include "the legend of Dante" (based on Charents, a series of paintings), "Lilith", "Ananda and death" (based on Isahakyan), "My people", "Dream" (lithograph). Created scenic thematic and compositional work, landscapes, still lifes, portraits ("Autumn", "Noon", "Sayat-Nova", etc.), has illustrated more than 200 books.
