Goldfinches Eugene B. (March 21, 1927 - December 12, 1991) was a Soviet graph-cartoonist, Illustrator, designer. Known as one of the leading masters of caricature in post-Soviet art. Honored artist of the RSFSR.
Worked as a regular freelance artist in the magazine "Crocodile", the author of the albums humorous drawings "Humor", "good morning", "large and small", "My friends," "Caution children!" . Illustrated the works of writers, satirists, drew for magazines "Fun", "Health", "pioneer". Designed several performances in a Moscow theater, worked for the circus, clown making rooms, a participant over a hundred Moscow, Russian and international exhibitions. The works of Eugene Shcheglova are in many museums around the country, published in his albums of genre paintings in the collections of drawings of the masters of caricature, published in Moscow and abroad, as well as in domestic and foreign periodicals.
