Minas AVETISYAN karapetovich - Armenian painter, graphic artist, theatre artist, honored artist of Armenia (1968), was born July 20, 1928 in the Armenian village of jajur. Studied at the Yerevan school named F. Terlemezyan (1947-1952 years), Yerevan art and theater Institute (1952-1954) and the Leningrad Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture named I. E. Repin (1955-1959,), where one of his main teachers was B. C. Johanson. Since 1960 he lived in Yerevan.
