That's when the meeting Yakovleva with the work of Picasso, which had on it a powerful effect. In particular, under the influence of Picasso and Yakovlev himself spoke directly about this relationship - in painting and drawing Yakovlev appears motif of a cat with a bird. Now that the Picasso painting "Cat devouring a bird" (1939), which Yakovlev seen in Moscow, is in the permanent exhibition of the National Museum of Pablo Picasso (Paris). At the exhibition in MAMMA, you will see the graphic works of Picasso from the collection of the Paris Museum with the same motive - in particular, "the Cat that eats the cock" (1953).
