One of the British auction houses going on April 23 sell 13 watercolors painted by Adolf Hitler, but their authorship is a big question, says Die Welt.
On sale romantic landscapes and still lifes with flowers.
The organizers of the auction say that watercolor painted in 1910, found the American Army sergeant in Essen in 1945. Sergeant sold his discovery to someone whose name is kept secret, and this is from the collection of this unknown person and the pictures were drawn on the white light, reports Deutsche Welle.
Particular attention is attracted watercolor, which depicts a dilapidated stone bridge over a river of crimson. The bridge sits a man, dressed in a light suit. Individuals can not make out, it is not painted. Near the head - a cross and the Latin initials AH Like everyone else, this figure was signed: in the lower right corner is A. Hitler.
The German newspaper Die Welt has expressed strong doubts about the authenticity of pictures: if you compare them with pictures of Hitler, the authenticity of which no doubt you will notice clear differences in style, choice of subjects and skill execution
