Born January 13, 1917 in s.Ozeryane Chernihiv region. First, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts professor A.P.Eysnera . In 1937-1940, . - Studied at the Leningrad Art College. In 1940 - he entered the Academy of Arts in Leningrad. Member of the Great Patriotic War. In 1950 - graduated from the Academy of Arts. Teachers - B.Yoganson , O.Zaytsev . For the brilliant successes of the course after I was awarded a scholarship Stalin . After graduating from the Academy with a group of the best graduates ( FZ Zakharov , NF Bortnikov , VA Apanovich etc.) was sent to the Ministry of Culture of the USSR in the Crimea for teaching in the Crimean Art College . N.S.Samokisha , where he taught in 1950-1952 . Since 1958 - Member NUAU . Since 1951 - member of city, regional , union and in 1983 - foreign ( UK, Japan , Greece, USA, France) Exhibition . From 1970 to 1980 . - Chairman of the Crimean branch of the Union of Artists. Since 1976 - Honored Artist of Ukraine. In 1976 - he was awarded " Honor ." 1989 - People's Artist of Ukraine. From 2003 - People's Artist of Russia . Since 2007 - Honored Artist of the ARC. Laureate of the State Prize of the ARC. Since 2009 - Honorary Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts. In 2010 - Gold Medal " For his contribution to world culture, " International Fund "Cultural Heritage " ( Russia ) . In 2011 - awarded the insignia of the ARC "for devotion to duty ." His works are in museums and private collections in Ukraine, Russia , USA, France , Holland, UK. Lived and worked in Simferopol.
