Hurry, according to my promise, to write a few sentences about the history of my portrait , created by Anatoly Zverev summer of 1977 . With Anatoly closely , gently and gracefully made friends , or rather, stayed , was , did not leave my husband Valery Belov, K. (1935 - 1991) - mathematician, student and friend of Berg and Shafarevich , who lived at that time in Moscow, Patriarch's Ponds at : Bronnaya 31/13 kv19 .
Coming to her husband in Moscow, I , of course, lived in the same communal apartment , where she met in 1976 by Anatoly Zverev . The summer of 1977 I was in Moscow and a half months , most of that time Anatoly lived with us in one room. Every day he took up his paint . if there was not at hand brushes , the paint squeezed straight from the tube to any material at hand , whether it is paper, cardboard, plywood, scrap or any piece of packaging, etc. That plywood - cover of the box , a stray neighbors husband , Anatole and used , thinking that they can perpetuate my way . About how he put it: " The muzzle you not bad , let's sit in front of me while I'm good ... " Pose had not too long; portrait that led my husband's delight , was ready.
Zverev painted everything and everyone , often very Valeria , but unfortunately did not survive these portraits . In 1978 , also in the summer, with Valery Zverev came to Leningrad , lived in my apartment ... But that's another story ...
No other works by Anatoly than sending portrait and two figures - scraps , I have not. My husband my whole life very gently took his powerful , brilliant friend and frequent contact with him in Moscow when he became already Leningradites . Of course, he flew to Moscow to bid farewell to Zverev in 1986. Very sad and survived Anatolia only five years .
