By the way , the work can hardly be called " Black Island ", because Patyka not native village located in the mountains , most of the plain . The painting depicts an old Boykovskaya " hut" in the Carpathians. Vladimir I. in many of his works, trying to capture the image of the " vanishing of Ukraine" - the old hut , mills, Hutsul life , traveling around the Carpathians , sometimes far away from civilization . But the artist does not have much work in a similar emotional tone - for me, it is very well conveyed mood .. IMHO, this work would suit the name of "Solitude" or "Evening" .
