Louis -Emile Dyurandel (Louis-Emile Durandelle) known for his photographs of Paris during the Second Empire during the reign of Napoleon III. Paris at that time was a giant construction site , started by the then prefect of the city of Baron Georges Eugene Haussmann . His plan was decisively destroyed the old buildings and new houses were built quickly , stations and theaters. Presented portfolio Le Nouvel Opéra de Paris: Sculpture ornementale displays ten-year process of building a new opera house between 1861 and 1875 . The building project , executed by Charles Garnier is different from neo-Baroque style , full of decorative elements .
