Indeed, there are stained Rothko is something of an organic painting, but somehow hard to imagine a Rothko in the late 1940's studying the idea Matyushina. Lloyd drew attention to the Rothko, when he had already taken place, the famous and expensive artist. A major bulk "purchase", so to speak, Lloyd made after Rothko's death and, as we know from history, not entirely in good faith.
