Boris N. Rapoport (1922-2006) , Ukrainian painter. Born in the town of Soroca , Moldova. In 1949 he graduated from the Kyiv Institute of Art (he studied with K. Trokhymenko , G.Svetlytskyi , I. Shtilman ) . Member of the National Union of Artists (1950). In 1960 , 1980, 1995, 1997 , 2000, 2008 . held solo exhibitions of the artist in Kiev. Master of lyrical landscape. The works presented in the National Art Museum , the Museum of Modern Art (Kiev), the art museums of Lviv, Berdyansk , Simferopol , Uzhhorod , Gorlovki , museum collections in Russia , as well as in private collections.
