On Thursday, June 13 German police officers reported the arrest of two members of an international gang who copied works of Russian avant-garde artists and presenting them as original.
Two men aged 67 and 41 had been arrested during a series of special services raids. In raids involved more than 100 police officers who visited a number of apartments and offices in the regions of Bavaria, Rhineland-Palatinate, Baden-Württemberg, Hesse and Hamburg.
