Another, 6 th in a row auction "city council" in the halls of the hotel "Angleterre" offers collectors and collectors, as well as museum professionals and connoisseurs of Russian art paintings, drawings and sculpture created over half a century, in the 1950s and 1990s mainly leading Leningrad artists. Of great interest are the rare paintings of artists of an earlier period in the history of Soviet art. This is primarily a landscape with haystacks "Summer" brush outstanding master Arkady Rylova (1870-1939), a disciple and follower of AI Kuindzhi and painting "Winter in the City" by Nikolai Ivanovich Dormidontova (1898-1962), a prominent representative of the pre-war art in Leningrad, the first chairman of the branch of the Association of Artists of Revolutionary Russia, and participated in various artistic associations 1920-1930-ies (the "Group 16 "'Guild of Artists"), who left as a graphic chronicle of the life of the besieged city. Another well-known at the time the representative AHRR - Leo Leonardovich Bure (1887-1943), Honored Artist of Uzbekistan, who created the exhibited in the auction picturesque Central Asian motif - stsenku the life of the solar Samarkand. With the Leningrad school of painting is inextricably linked the work of many artists of the former Soviet republics and the people from the different regions of the country of the Soviets.
