Exhibition "Russian landscape of the second half of XIX - early XX centuries." A remarkable collection of Russian art was formed in Rostov Museum in the 1920s, thanks to the energetic efforts of the museum staff, working under the leadership of Dmitry Alekseevich Ushakov (1894-1942). No coincidence that in the 1920s embodied cherished since the 1890s, the idea of ​​creating a museum of the Art Gallery, which was intended organizers was to represent the history of Russian art. To that end, the museum staff sought new exhibits from various organizations of Moscow and Petrograd, which was no easy task. Not coincidentally, a significant part of his artistic heritage make up the image of Rostov. Landscape "Rostov fall" - one of the best works of the artist.
