Painting PT Maltsev "Storm Sapun Mountain" has been praised at a national art exhibition in honor of the 40th anniversary of the Soviet Armed Forces. This work later became the basis for the creation of the current dioramas - "Storm of Sapun Mountain May 7, 1944."
The creative team of P.T.Maltseva (team leader), G.I.Marchenko, N.S.Prisekina in 1958 went to work. Military consultant was Hero of the Soviet Union captain of the first rank in retirement GV Ternovskii. Artists studied carefully the events, met with members of the assault Sapun mountain terrain makes sketches, drawings and sketches.
