In the Sevastopol Art Museum decided to renew the tradition of Soviet times art exhibitions , named "Memorial IKAivazovsky ", but in a somewhat different , a new form. Two rooms in the exhibition presented 90 stock paintings and drawings , which allow to trace the main stages in the development of the genre marina , from paintings of Dutch painters XVII-XVIII centuries, the Russian masters of the XIX century to the works of contemporary artists of Sevastopol .
     Sea were reflected in the works of Russian and European artists. The exhibition re- heard names like L.Bakheysen , A.P.Bogolyubov , A.K.Beggrov , L.F.Lagorio , R.G.Sudkovsky , Korovin ... Among the exhibits are dominated by bright marina brush outstanding Russian landscape seascape Ivan Aivazovsky , whose name has become truly immortal in the annals of world art.
