Dovgyallo Michael Hrisanfovich 05/21/1908 - 09/09/1978 Painter. Member of the Union of Artists.
Born May 21, 1908 in the village of Steep, Smolensk region in the family of a priest.
In 1926, Michael Hrisanfovich enters the Vitebsk Art School. There he was taught by M. Ende, F. Vogt, M. Kerzin, Volkov, who will play a crucial role in the creation of the future artist.
In 1930, after graduation, he moved to Minsk and starts teaching activity.
From 1932 to 1934 worked as an interior decorator in the Theater. Yanka Kupala.
Since 1932, Michael Hrisanfovich participate in the Republican and All-Union exhibitions.
In 1932, V-Belarusian artist exhibition presents the work of "Playground on the farm."
In 1935 - 1937. the artist creates and exhibits his work at the All-Union exhibitions. The paintings "The arrest of peasants in Poland", "Dinner on the farm", "Mowing" and many others are very popular. A magnificent landscapes "Autumn" and "Before the Storm" exhibit in Moscow during the "Decade of the Belarusian art."
In the first years after the war, he wrote film "Underground District Committee", "Old Minsk", "Minsk built", "Logoisk gave", "Lilac", "peat" and others.
