Artist info: Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1970). He studied at the Central Studio AHRR in Moscow, then in the studio Mashkov (1925-27), graduated VHUTEMAS, where he worked in the workshops Konchalovsky and Mashkov. Since 1926 - Member of AHRR and exhibitors of this association. MOSSH member - from 1932 to 1943 he worked in the studio of military Artists. Grekov. Was active in Moscow, Russian, All-Union exhibitions. Repeatedly held his solo exhibitions, the last two were opened in Moscow after the death of the artist (1978, 1979). The works were exhibited at international exhibitions in Damascus (1950.), Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria (1961), England (1972), U.S. (1999, Tennessee, the Nashville, nationalism. Picture Gallery). His works are in the Tretyakov Gallery, the Samara Art Museum, in the meeting room the UN, the Russian Embassy in London, the collection Martinez in Finland.
