Grositsky Andrew B. (1934 -)

Grositsky Andrew was born in 1934 in Moscow.
In 1959 graduated from the Moscow Art Institute. Surikov. From 1962 to 1968 he participated in the Moscow and All-Union exhibitions of youth .
Joins the nonconformist movement and participated in the " apartment exhibitions ."
Grositsky used method of application and color accents, typical of his work , give them an almost surreal .
Grositsky not seek in painting to performance , rejects social generalizations . Subject matter and space in his paintings are built into a single self-contained unit, even if the subject does not lose real recognizable shape.
Grositsky participated in many exhibitions in Moscow and in the West , his paintings and objects are in many museums and private collections.
Grositsky lives and works in Moscow.
