Leo A. Raven was born in Ney Kostroma region in 1933. He studied at the Leningrad Art School (1947-1952) , at the Higher Art and Industrial School. Vera Mukhina (1953-1953) , the Institute of Painting , Sculpture and Architecture. Ilya Repin (1955-1960) in the studio under the direction of etching Pakhomov . Worked in Bratsk and Angarsk from 1960 to 1967 . Party zone exhibitions "Siberia socialist ," " Big Volga" , republican, regional exhibitions. Lives and works in Ulyanovsk in 1967. Member of the Union of Artists since 1975. Main Focus: portrait, landscape , graphics. His works are in museums in Ulyanovsk , Ulyanovsk Drama Theater , and private collections in the USA , England, Switzerland and Japan .
