1891 Memories of smoking in the studio and Repin.
In the studio, put a new sitter : a turban , with a dark bronze body and the eastern saber sharp blade which he tries to finger.
The model I really liked, and I wanted to write at least quickly, unfinished. I put together what I have just had the old brown paint and a large rough (named Repin ) canvas , earlier there was something already started , so no outline , large brushes widely and rapidly it ordered.
