I'm not a fan of the direction of contemporary art that exploits the religious traditions (in this case, the Islamic tradition). It seems doubtful this way, both in terms of religion, both in terms of attitudes towards art. Interesting such art can be only if his artistic realization of something special. In this case, the religious issue is solved the old method of picturesque terrain (or assemblage, based on a picture plane). Instead of canvas - a plate of black rubber, which are superimposed fragments of Oriental fabrics and carpets, pieces of fur, footwear, applied a stencil prints of palms and soles of the congregation of believers. If it were not spectacular entourage of aides-ruins, adding a unique architectural effect, I have this project did not seem interesting.
