Neon landscape.

The theme of my exhibition associated with the image of the light emitted by modern gas discharge lamps - fluorescent, neon, and others. For simplicity, combined them with the word "neon". Therefore, the name is a convention.
I will start from a distance. The light from the candles in the Baroque painting-tsentroobrazuyuschy, warm, as opposed to the surrounding darkness. Art of the 19th Century thematizes light and air. I would like to return to the problem of light in the painting.

And our contemporary looks at the world through the glass, reflecting the interior space, filled with neon light. I see this as a new way of the world. In painting a very large and has a long history that goes far beyond the era of the emergence of the electric light and the associated images inherent to perceive the world differently. This enables the distance that can "show" has become invisible to the eye accustomed to the reality.
