As I suspected, the artist I. Zhilin, was Zhilin (Zhilenko) Panteleimon Fedorovich 03.08.1886-1942. He was a member of the First World War and sent his watercolors directly from the front. The editorial staff due to indiscriminate signature, writing as seen AI Zhilin.
