so-coll, a noble goal , but before you rely on a number of copies, just try to figure out how many friends - friends and many museums of the future will be expected to catalog. Make copies with a margin of, say, a hundred pieces, but it will be psychologically worse, if the extra copies will be based on the mountain before the eyes, because they have nowhere to put it.
Of course, the smaller the number of copies, the higher the cost, but here especially for the cheap chasing , in my opinion , not worth it - better for your case the optimal number of copies, and not a penny dimes ...
